Am living my own chapter two, and thinking ahead about my chapter three. I followed my goals of obtaining an MBA in finance and securing a corporate finance position with a large, but growing company. I grew my expertise in finance as well as strategy and operations in ever-expanding roles with Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. It was exactly what I had wanted for my career, until…. a desirable job offer for my husband requiring a relocation and the birth of my first child reset my priorities. While Eli Lilly generously afforded me the opportunity to maintain my management role while telecommuting from Charlotte to Indianapolis, I ultimately elected to enjoy staying home with my children for a while.

After six years of staying home, I sought a balance that would allow me to return to the corporate and strategy roles I loved while also raising my children. A terrific local opportunity arose with a management consulting firm. Unfortunately the requirements of the role shifted within a year, requiring too much travel to meet my other priorities.  I joined ChapterTwo® as Director of Client Services, leading project management and customer relations

I am active in my children’s school taking on various leadership and board roles; a member of the Mint Museum Auxiliary where I have served as treasurer; and serve my church through teaching and volunteering. Spare time is spent cooking, travelling, painting, and studying fine wines and foods.
